You missed a framework place and need the next route to the same buyers
Missing a framework place leaves you with a pipeline gap and a short list of options: work for the firms that were appointed, bid on another framework that is open now, or build for the next round. We look at your assessment summary first because it tells us which of the three is fastest for you. The decision is usually clear in one conversation.
The honest bit
If your score gap was a missing certification or a financial standing threshold, that has to be fixed before any of the three routes works properly, and some of those fixes take weeks. If the gap was a handful of marks on quality, you are closer than you feel. We will tell you which one you are in on the first call.
What we need to start today
- Your assessment summary and the lot or lots you bid for
- What you sell, to whom, and your capacity over the next six months
- A list of your accreditations and insurance levels
- Any appointed contractors you already work with
When we will tell you not to bid
These are the things that make the situation undeliverable rather than merely tight. If any of them apply we will say so on the first call, before you spend anything.
- No accurate picture of your own pipeline
- A requirement for an accreditation that takes longer than the opportunity allows
- No capacity to deliver if a route comes off
Questions people ask at this point
Can I still work with a framework buyer if I was not appointed?
Not directly as a framework supplier. You can work through an appointed supplier as a subcontractor or adviser, or bid on other routes the same buyers use.
How soon can I get on another framework?
Depends on what is open. We keep a dated list of live frameworks with the notice each was checked against on our tender deadlines page.
Is it worth bidding again next round?
Usually, if your score gap was a small one. Pagabo's current frameworks run for four years from October 2026, so the next full round is some way off.
Tell us the deadline and we will tell you if it is doable
We respond the same day. Send the documents and the deadline and you will get a straight answer on whether it is deliverable, including if the answer is no. A bid you were never going to win costs more than the fee it would have earned.
Send us the deadline
Missed a framework place. Tell us the closing date and what you have, and we will come back the same day with whether it is deliverable.
