What is Network Services 4?
Network Services 4 (RM6377) is the Government Commercial Agency framework through which the UK public sector will buy telecommunications and network services from 2027. The scope spans connectivity, traditional and IP telephony, unified communications, contact centre services and Internet of Things capability.
At £7 billion excluding VAT over an eight-year term, RM6377 is the principal route to market for network suppliers selling to central government, health, local government, education, policing and defence buyers. It replaces RM6116 Network Services 3, which expires in July 2027.

Tender publication on the Find a Tender Service is expected around 19 August 2026. The framework itself runs from 17 February 2027 to 16 February 2035. Supplier engagement began in August 2025, so the specification has been shaped over a full year of market input.
