Urgent bid support · situation 1 of 12

A tender is due this week and nothing is written

A tender closing in three to five working days is usually still winnable if the evidence exists somewhere in your business and somebody can answer questions quickly. What kills it is not writing time, it is missing evidence: a reference you cannot get, an accreditation that lapsed, a financial threshold you do not meet. We respond the same day, read the pack, and tell you within hours whether it is deliverable. If it is not, we say so before you spend money.

The honest bit

Three working days is tight but normal. Two is possible when the questions are few and your evidence is already organised. One working day is usually not, and we will tell you that rather than take the fee and hand you something that scores in the bottom band. The exception is a short quality submission where you already have most of the content and need a professional rewrite rather than a build from nothing.

What we need to start today

  • The portal link and your login, or the documents if you have downloaded them
  • The exact submission deadline, including the time and the time zone
  • Whether the clarification window is still open, because that changes what we can ask the buyer
  • One person who can answer questions the same day, with authority to confirm facts about the business
  • Whatever evidence already exists: past submissions, case studies, policies, CVs, insurance and accreditation certificates

When we will tell you not to bid

These are the things that make the situation undeliverable rather than merely tight. If any of them apply we will say so on the first call, before you spend anything.

  • A mandatory accreditation that has lapsed and cannot be reinstated in time
  • No comparable contract references, where the buyer requires two or three
  • A turnover or financial standing threshold the bidding entity does not meet, with no parent guarantee arranged
  • Nobody available on your side to answer questions, which stalls the work faster than anything else
  • Portal registration not yet approved, which is not instant and cannot be accelerated

Questions people ask at this point

Can you write a tender in three days?

Usually yes, if the evidence exists and someone on your side can answer questions the same day. We respond the same day you call and regularly deliver complete responses on 24 to 48 hour timescales. What decides it is evidence availability, not writing speed.

What if the deadline is tomorrow?

Call anyway and we will give you a straight answer within the hour. Sometimes a one day turnaround is achievable on a short quality submission where you already have most of the content. Often it is not, and we would rather tell you that than take a fee for something that will score badly.

How quickly can you start?

The same day. Send the documents and the deadline and we will read the pack and come back with whether it is deliverable and what it would take, before any money changes hands.

Tell us the deadline and we will tell you if it is doable

We respond the same day. Send the documents and the deadline and you will get a straight answer on whether it is deliverable, including if the answer is no. A bid you were never going to win costs more than the fee it would have earned.
